* A suggestion was made that there be groups of people in each region/area of Waskewitch Decendants. Persons attending the meeting charted areas and names.

* The offical name of the Event is "Gathering of Waskewitch Decendants"
*The next meeting will be at Frog Lake First Nation on Saturday, January 18, 2003. There will also be a Birthday Round Dance for Madeline (Waskewitch) Moyah. Families will bring food items for the concession, items to be raffled and 50/50's - all as a fundraiser for the Gathering. The upcoming Gathering will be announced during the round dance.
* Alfred Morin volunteered to attend to round dance to distribute posters for the Birthday Round Dance on January 18, 2003. Some cigarettes and money for tobacco purchase was given to Alfred to invite people.
* Ray Cardinal proposed a tentative outline for the Gathering.
* Donations will be collected at each meeting defray the cost for postage, photocoping, and tobacco. Monetary donations will be collected at each meeting as a fundraiser. The money to be handled by the treasurer-receipts will be written. Gladys Heavenfire as Tresurer will open a bank account.
* Elaine Sharp requests a donation letter to take to the casino.
* A sheet for addresses was passed to each person attending the meeting.
* There will be no outside vendors at the Gathering.
* Other sports activities discussed such as volleyball, baseball, horse rides, soccer, bus service to the lake, quad rides, talent show, storytelling by Elders: so children can learn about family roots.
* Suggested that each family have different colored ribbons for identification.
* Family and visitors to sign in at campground.
* Need a (town) Camp Crier to announce daily activities.
