• A motion was made by Gladys Heavenfire that reimbursements be given to Shirley Waskewitch - $80.00 for postage and color cartridge, Linda Prentice for food supplies at the Gathering. Seconded by Lelian, motion carried.
• Research Committee Report: Linda Prentice suggests that if people want copies (of the genealogy), that they can send money to pay for copying. For the next Gathering regarding membership sales - it was suggested that someone be designated to greet people and fill out papers for research. That a cartificate of appreciation to be sent to APTN for broadcasting the Gathering. Linda gave back memberships to the president. Shirley Waskewicth volunteers to fax a certificate to Bruce Spence at APTN. Shirley will contact Frances Wask.-Goulet and find out why other people cannot access the Gathering Website. Is there a charge for the website , what needs to be paid? What is the cost? Information on the website is to be presented at the next meeting. Shirley and Linda informed the group that they will be on the Research Committee for the next meeting.
• New Executive for Gathering 2005 -Tabled to next meeting. It is suggested that the Secretary and Tresurer shoud be in the same area as the President and Vice President-so they should be in Onion Lake. The Treasurer will be selected during the meeting at Onion Lake. It is less costly and also the minutes will be more accessable.
• Elder Tom Heavenfire suggests to register the Gathering as a non profit society.
• Collection from this meeting $70.50.
• Next Meeting-the date for the next meeting is on Saturday, Feb. 14th,2004 at Onion Lake, 10:00am at the new hall. A suggestion was made that a Sweetheart Dance to follow that evening as a fundraiser. Elder Tom Heavenfire followed the traditional protocal and presented a cigarette to Wayne Morin. In acceptance, Wayne Morin will perform as an Elvis Impersonator. Accomdoations and travel expenses will be paid. Wayne and Barbara will bring all the equipment. The discussion continued: if advance tickets are sold, the money covers the food. The advance tickets have to be out by December 2003. The Elvis impersonater show with a dinner will start at 5:00pm (doors open at 3:00pm or 5:00pm any other suggestions?) The dance to follow, a DJ, Kerokee or a live band is much better. We need a person as an opening act. Posters will be sent to different places.  Allan and Barbara will fax an example or a poster for the performance. Other discussion is 50/50 tickets - Tickets will sold during the show or other raffles. The advance tickets are to be scruntinized. eg. "I, __________have tickets 0001-0020" and be signed by the seller. That person(seller) sells and retains whatever is not sold and hands in all the money. That person is responsible for any losses of money-also cannot give away tickets to family members.
• Calendar as fundraiser Joseph will talk to Raymond Cardinal regarding the calendar. Both Ray and Wayne will be informed and both will mutually agree as who will do the calendar.
• Christmas Fundraiser-the dance will be discussed at Onion Lake with the other people.

Note: A secretary was not yet selected at the time of this meeting. Linda Prenticce and myself were writing afew notations. Therefore, some suggestions may not be included.
