* Introductions of all family members who attended the meeting.

* Edmund Waskwitch nominated Shirley Waskewicth as President, Linda Prentice as Vice President, Galdys Heavenfire as Treasurer, Loiuse Half as Secretary.

* The name & dates of the event decided to be known as: Gathering of Waskewitch Decendants for August 29,30,31, September 1, 2003 at the Onion Lake Pow-wow Grounds.

* There will be a Council of Elders to offer advice/guidance: Thomas Moyah, Madeline Moyah, Tom Heavenfire, Dennis Cardinal, Peter Trottier, Fred Waskewitch, Ray Cardinal, Elmer Carlson, Charlie Waskewitch, Bella Lameman, Edmund Waskewitch.

* Members were asked to volunteer for committees, others were appointed by family members: Melvin Abrahm, Raymond Cardinal, Martha Half, Alice Berger, Lelian John, Nancy Waskewitch, Rose Marie Lameman, Geraldine Lameman, Charlotte Benson, Elaine Sharpe, Joseph Waskewicth Jr., Donny Cardinal, Alfred Morin, Irene Morin, Rocky Wade.

* Food: Every member will contribute what they can for feasts.

* Some activities were discussed for the Gathering such as potluck, camping day, fiddle dance, Memorial Roun Dance, Pipe/Sweatlodge Ceremonies, Feast, Storytelling, Circles, Talent Show.

* Poster shall contain the following: Gathering of Waskewitch Decendants, August29,30,31, September 1, 2003, Contact Linda Prentice.

* Family Tree/Photographs, families will chart lineage. Ray Cardinal will do the photography. Suggested ribbons per family for identification.

* Shirley Waskewitch will formulate the Research Committee.

* Announcement of the Gathering to be made at Round Dances.

* Potlucks at each meeting.
